Released in 1987 , the Olympus Trip MD is a compact, motorized film camera designed for those who want a simple experience without complicated settings. It's a pure point-and-shoot : you aim, you shoot, the rest is handled by the camera.

Derived from Olympus ' famous "Trip" series (but with no direct link to the Trip 35), this model stands out for its sleek design, compact size, and fully automated operation: the film is easily inserted and is automatically advanced after each shot, thanks to the integrated motor ( MD = Motor Drive ).

The Trip MD is designed for everyday photography, urban strolls, or light travel. Its fixed focus and single shutter speed eliminate any room for error: simply frame your shot correctly, maintain the minimum distance (approximately 2 meters), and press the shutter button. The camera automatically adjusts the aperture according to your chosen ISO setting (100 to 1000).

The built-in flash can be manually pulled out when there is insufficient light, and a red LED in the viewfinder informs you when it is charging.
