When loading the film, simply set the sensitivity to one of three preset values: 100/200, 400 or 1000/1600, as this model does not support DX encoding. The sensitivity switch is located on the bottom of the camera. Then the user has only one decision to make: framing. Once the composition is decided, simply press the shutter release. If the light is insufficient, a red LED lights up to indicate that it is time to turn on the flash.
This same camera is known as the CB35 in Japan or the Snappy EZ in the United States. Although it is labeled "Canon Japan", its place of manufacture remains a mystery.
