History and Overview of the Device : By the time of the release of the Vivitar VC3300, Hanimex had evolved beyond its original reputation in Australia to become an import name for mass retail sales of Vivitar devices. In 1985, Hanimex acquired Vivitar, which explains this transition.
The Vivitar VC3300 shares similarities with the 1997 Vivitar EZ Point'n Shoot and EZ Motor devices. The closest model in terms of resemblance is the Vivitar EZ Motor.
The distinctive feature of this device is its extra-large viewfinder, making it an ideal choice for eyeglass wearers. The focus is preset at a distance of 1.20 meters to infinity, simplifying shooting.
The camera operates at a single shutter speed of 1/125 second and is sensitive to DX coding. However, on the back of the camera, it is recommended to use ISO 400 films.
Film advance and rewind are motorized for convenience. A small sliding shutter in front of the lens blocks the shutter, protecting the lens. The built-in flash is automatic, with the possibility of deactivating it, and it is equipped with the anti-red-eye function.
