Released around 1990 , the Konica Pop BF-8 is one of those compact film cameras designed for simplicity and ease of use. Its name BF stands for Big Finder , because of its very large viewfinder , a feature quite common in the late 90s on certain models. This oversized viewfinder makes framing easy, even for eyeglass wearers.

The camera operates entirely manually , whether for film advancement , rewinding , or flash management. It has a fixed focus lens , and an original exposure adjustment system using a three-position pulley , which acts like a diaphragm.
