This lineup included models such as the Praktica LLC, Super TL 3, MTL 3, MTL 5, and others. The MTL 3 and MTL 5 models were designed as evolutions of the original MTL 3, introduced five years earlier. The main exterior difference is the replacement of the chocolate bar coating with a smoother one. Although Praktica cameras from this era share aesthetic similarities, they offer essential features for film photography.

• Cell: TTL cell (through the lens) powered by the battery. Light measurement is triggered by a lever above the trigger.
• Viewfinder: The viewfinder is clear, with a needle oscillating between three marks to indicate exposure quality, based on camera settings and film sensitivity.
